The weather has been pretty weird this year. Two days before Christmas it was in the high 50's, and this morning, it was -17 degrees. Oh yeah, and that's accompanied by over a foot of snow. A foot of snow is more snow than I've ever seen before! It's pretty incredible...but mostly it's just really fucking cold.
Being stuck in the house because of snow these last few days has really made me miss my parent's stocked liquor cabinet. If only I had that much access to liquid warmth...but because I don't, here's a super simple (and delicious) sangria--if you close your eyes and lay back, you can imagine you're drinking it on a tropical island. Ahh, sunshine...
1 bottle Arbor Mist Sangria
1 cup brandy
Pour the entire bottle of Arbor Mist Sangria into a large pitcher. Next, add in the brandy, and top it off with 7-Up, or Sprite. Use the 7-Up to make the drink stronger or weaker. (Do whatever you like, it's your sangria and imaginary island!)
I also diced up some fruit and tossed it in, because healthy.
